Let’s give you the inside scoop, shall we? Like I said before, my name is Kelsey. I live in the mountains of West Virginia with my dear husband, Chance, and three farm kids Henry, Lillian, and Eliza. We jumped into the homesteading journey a little over four years ago and never looked back. We currently keep chickens, ducks, rabbits, pigs, goats, and two Dexter cows on the homestead. We also have ever-expanding gardens to grow our own fruit and vegetables and just set up two high tunnels on our property last year. We are committed to growing and raising the best quality food we can in a way that is beneficial to the environment.
Chance manages an Emergency Room full time and spearheads the big homestead projects. He tends to dive into an idea full force while I am a bit more hesitant sometimes (remember when he decided to get the pigs?), but his big ideas usually work out well. He is the hardest worker I know and the only person I would want to be on this homesteading journey with.
I am a stay at home mom to our three kiddos which is a wild adventure on its own. I am passionate about creating a rich family culture, raising wild and free kids who will break the mold, home educating, and focusing on slowing down to forge deep connections in our family.
I am so excited that you’re here, and I can’t wait to share with you on this journey.
Wishing you an abundant life,
