As a mama to two little ones and as a homeschooling family, we have a lot of books. Honestly, I’d love to someday have an entire room devoted to books. A girl can dream of her own personal library, right?
Back to the books! As parents, we have tried to cultivate a love of reading in our children by reading them great stories often from a young age. Now our kids are four and two, and they’ve both memorized and can recite quite a few of our family favorites.
Speaking of our family favorites, I’ve compiled a list of some of the books we read frequently here on the homestead. These books are not only loved by our kids, but we enjoy reading them as well, which is always important when you’re going to be reading them over and over…and over.
